For our Mexican and Latino friends in Venezuela, Columbia, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Peru (and of course all the other espanol lingo countries we do not have - yet - personal contacts we started this "Edecanes Latinas" section at the Grid Girls Intl. website.
What are "Edecanes"?? Edecanes are prominent features of many entertainment and brand-sponsored events in Mexico.
They are usually young, attractive women, who sometimes act in some official capacity, perhaps as greeters who welcome recent arrivals to an event, or as those who tote trophies to winners on stage at awards shows. Sometimes, they serve as pure decoration to "enhance the experience" of the event.
